Hi al...
I'm back!! I've been off-line for the past 48 hours (more or less) rebuilding my system. I'm now running an old PI 233 that I had in the attic.
Anyway my hard disk was fine, it was the MoBo that went bad! I moved the hd to this old system and it now works fine, but slow.
So, now I'm in the market for an "new" used mobo. I'll start a new thread about that.
Too bad your in germainy. You might consider www.pricegrabber.com most of the sites are American but likely you can research motherboards and comments there. One point avoid ASUS as the new ones are nothing but trouble based on this lists comments. You dont need the latest MB either. I bought this PII 350 as a bare bones setup put in my own memory, graphics, sound, CD and HD no problems. You don't even need a fast graphics card this one is only 8mb. -- _______ _______ _______ __ / ____\ \ / / ____|_ _\ \ / / | | \ \ /\ / / (___ | | \ \ / / | | \ \/ \/ / \___ \ | | \ \/ / | |____ \ /\ / ____) |_| |_ \ / \_____| \/ \/ |_____/|_____| \/
