Hello, Ok, since the most people never looked at our CDs (Or they would have seen the ChangeLog file with all of our changes), here is a short summary. As everybody could see, there are only some few real updates, the most are only minor bug fixes. There are a lot of new KDE programs, and a lot of new builds of packages comes from fixes for our Alpha version, or because of the libc update. That what I have written the last time. This list is the difference between the first german master and the current FTP-Version (diff over both Changelogs as everybody can do). This means, the most changes are already on the first international version. I doubt it is complete, I have ignored some packages, where we have fixed only typos in docu or so and which only for internal use. I hope now are all happy and see, that a lot of people cry for nothing. - StarOffice: Fixes in Documentation. - Update of documentation. - minicom: locale bug fix. - kernmod: disable scsi_logging - gimp: disable locale support - enlight: update to 0.15.5 (user requests) - econf: for enlight - openldap: new bugfix version 1.2.1 - webalize: Update with smaple configuration fixes - eterm: New. - sysvinit: killproc fix for multithreaded programs mingetty: reset also /dev/vcs* - snns: minor installation bug fix - gnuplot: fix bugs in summer time handling - man: remove one forgotten debug message - i4l: update databases - samba: Run umount on shutdown - nkitb: ping fixes (egcs), update routed for new kernel - dochost: fix possible security problem - ossdemo: Update for 2.2.7 kernel - aaa_base: Add more entries to /etc/conf.modules - lx_suse: Update kernel to 2.2.7 - susewm: add afgerstep, minor bug fixes - sax: add russian translations - nkita: Add more documentation, update bootpc for new kernel - ypserv: Use SIGHUP for reload, do not restart - ypclients: Likewise, wait until ypbind finds a server - ziptool: exclude PTS and AUTOFS filesystems - webalize: fix typo in sample config - mswordview: New. - YaST: add new printers, fix some descriptions, add more warnings, add more translations - wmaker: New - wmaconf: New - xf86: Small fix in Backarrow2Delete and Backarrow2BackSpace script - xtermset: New - pcf: Fix Y2K problem - apache: Update to new version - apassl: Likewise, use gdbm, not ndbm - ppa: Update to new version (GDI printer) - aps: Add support for new ppa - plan: Update to new version - kbase: bugfix for SuSEconfig.kdm - apmd: Don't start by default - libc: add more locale - ps (procinfo): Update for SMP - firewall: add moew documentation - x11amp: Update from alpha to beta version - mc: Update for security fixes - icewm: bugfixes - tuxeyes: New package - A lot of new KDE packages - there are packages with fixes for Alpha port (we build both from the same source tree, ignore this for intel) Thorsten -- Thorsten Kukuk <A HREF="http://www.suse.de/~kukuk/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.de/~kukuk/</A">http://www.suse.de/~kukuk/</A</A>> kukuk@suse.de SuSE GmbH Schanzaeckerstr. 10 90443 Nuernberg Linux is like a Vorlon.
