Hello I have a problem, that with Kernel 2.4.4-4G my ADSL line hangs all the time. I have SuSE 7.2 installed. It is a linux-router box, that had ADSL on all the time, and the box is routing traffic between LAN and internet. It has also masquerading on. I have tried SuSEfirewall2,but it makes no difference. With a 2.2.xx kernel that comes with SuSE 7.2 it works perfectly, but when changing to 2.4.4-4G this problem appears. No other changes made to system. Can anyone help me on this one? Jaska Here is a snip from /var/log/messages, that I have commented... ------------snip ---------------- Aug 9 11:14:14 hepe ippl: ICMP message type destination unreachable - bad host from 10.135.2.12 Aug 9 11:14:24 hepe last message repeated 2 times Aug 9 11:14:28 hepe dhcpcd[2253]: terminating on signal 15 Aug 9 11:14:28 hepe kernel: eth1: Promiscuous mode enabled.
