Hi all, After some electric power supply problems leading to several hard reboot, my test Suse Linux servers fails at rebooting. It holds some data I would like to recover. The error message at normal booting reads: Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on hda2 hda2 is a plain old disk where some problems could be expected. Please, before messing in the problem without a clear idea about how Linux deals with this issues, could you post me in the right direction to work out this problem and bring up again the computer? I'm guessing I could address the problem by removing the disk, I've not tried that, but is there any option not implying plugin/unplugging components? Just trying to learn from my own errors and problems! Thanks for your help. Best, Ricardo -- Ricardo Rodríguez XEN, Resources Management
