I have been trying to get my ADSL service to work with linux using the instructions found on http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/hoe_adsl_pppoe.html
I installed pppoed from Suse 7.0 CD. I am enclosing the most recent log output from today's configuration and testing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My ADSL service provider will provide no technical support for use of ADSL with linux.
Thanks. Mike michael.flug@snet.net
Now, it looks like you are getting an IP which implies that a connection is made... I havn't tried pppoe myself, as my provider uses pptp. Maybe yours does too ?
