Hi all,
one of the good things about the internet is... streaming radio :) At home I use amaroK as audio player and it plays streams and everything like a charm... so far, so good (so what?)
Now the problem is... once the program being streamed comes to an end, amaroK doesn't know how to resume and doesn't start playing the next one, so I have to click on [stop] and again on [start]...
I tried with different streams from different broadcasters and the problem is the same, so I guess amaroK is the one to blame...
Any ideas or suggestions? (besides doing the stop/start thing...)
Cheers, Martin
xmms is still BY FAR the best streamer I've found. Amarok is overly complex for this task, and has an interface that would confuse even a Gimp developer. Further, on some radio stations such as sky.fm or di.fm, their playlist files contain multiple stream addresses in case one goes down or is over loaded. Amarok has no idea what to do with these, and won't try the second feed if the first is busy or full. It really seems like a package that needs a fresh coat of bulldozer. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
