There are 5.0 and 5.1 rpms for 10.0 in the buildservice: http://software.opensuse.org/search?q=mysql&baseproject=SUSE%3ASL-10.0 , if you're lucky, it'll work on 9.3 too. If not, you can take the src.rpm and rebuild.
