I have a working 7.0 pro installed here, and the router works fine for me. Only one thing: As soon as I reboot and it reaches its runlevel, it immediately starts dialling out - even though NO request to internet was made from my LAN.
What setting could be wrong? Where shall I start my search? What logs would you need to estimate?
The router does this only at first boot, when I once connect the internet and then hangup, it does only dial in again when I want to (on demand)
So where to go?
No ideas?
ANY friendly pointer into that direction appreciated!
Well the dialout scripts are in /etc/ppp look for the chat, options, and ip-up script. I don't use dial-on-demand so I can only guess it is started from /etc/init.d. Look for the diald start script, and see where in /etc/init.d (in one of the rc.* directories) it is started. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
