But this could be a big security failure on fetchmail. Thunderbird safely (I hope) secures passwords under a master password. Unless I missed something in the docs.
Not sure about Thunderbird; I haven't used it in a long time.
LaZagne from the security:forensics repo has a goal of showing you what easy to retrieve passwords you have. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/security:forensics/LaZagne Certainly anything it finds is not well protected, but it may miss some obvious things.
