Redhat is nice for one reason, you can freely copy it onto other machines, as many as you want.
By this statement do you mean that SuSE cannot be freely copied?
I would like an answer from the suse people myself regarding this. The reason I said this, was I'm using a patched up 5.1 distribution, and wanted to get a "discount 5.3 cd" from Cheapbytes.com. Anyways, shipping was delayed, and delayed, and when I inquired to Cheapbytes, they said that there was "some licensing dis-agreement with Suse concerning Yast". So I'm going under the assumption that Suse does not let you make copies and freely distribute them. Anyone know for sure? - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
