So, you do not have to manually connect but to provide your wallet password! I found this really annoying, too. There are two easy solutions: * set an empty password for your wallet * tell the plasmoid that you you want to save your password in a file instead of the wallet ("Manage Connections..."->"Other"->...)
However, please consider that you will leave your WPA key unprotected. This is not a problem for me since my disk is encrypted..
I granted always access to the wallet for networkmanager. Now i only have to give the wallet password ... This is before all apps have booted, so not that annoying. Only have to wait a short while after login on.. Have not tried it when waking up, or after screensaver yet This is quite acceptable: You have no idea how happy i am that this issue is finaly solved... I postponed this every time, and used a wire... or: M$, and here is not even 7, but XP. The 64GB SSD takes 4ever to boot XP, while oS11.4 just takes 25 secs. Thanks 4 taking time to instruct me :-))
Thnx 4 this workaround... :-p In my lan there is only us. We live in the middle of nowhere. There are, as far as i kow, not too many hackers amongst the few farmers, that pass this place with their tractors, every once in a while...
