This last one works just fine -- thanks. What's the difference in intent between suse and open-suse?
The above 2 sites seem to answer Kai and I's question about where to find the rpms online for yast.
I understand that opensuse is basically alpha/beta code that will eventually become the next SUSE release, but is the OSS version the final packages? Or is the final released version updated from the above?
Well, 10.0 is already released and the names in the directory path suggest that this is 10.0 material. A glance through it suggests that it has everything that's on the distribution DVD. So (if and) when 10.0 is added to the SuSE directory, following the pattern of earlier versions, this might be the collection of rpms that goes there. Or is Novell perhaps no longer putting the rpms of released version X.Y in the suse/X.Y directory? Paul
