Does anyone else have any clue about this, I really wanna see what the problem is. I dont have any logoutput, but there must be one of u out there who also mount your shares using fstab. I was wondering how I can setup my SMB mounts to be mounted at startup. I have added the mounts to the fstab but since fstab is ran before SMB is started, they cant be mounted. It works fine if I do a simple "mount -a" after startup, so there is nothing wrong with what I have written in fstab, just that I'd like it to be mounted automatically.
any log output? have you started networking before fstab? i'll email you a script for network file systems which originally came from redhat but which i have modified quite a lot. (anyone else interested should email me).
