IE 5.5 under SuSE 8.0 Pro

I am trying to run IE 5.5 under SuSE Pro 8.0. Simply because I am stuck with some *$#@^% web-based applications that only run under IE5.5. I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Wine and have been successful in bringing up simple Windows apps like Notepad and Calculator from the Windows partition of my dual-boot laptop. However, when I try to invoke IE, wine automatically goes into a debug mode and gives me some Addressing errors related to some DLLs.
