At one time, there was some keystroke combination (Alt-F3 maybe?) that would unfreeze a KDE desktop and deliver a /new/ desktop or at least allow one to bring up a terminal to go in and kill an offending or hung process. Does anyone know?
Well I don't know if it's what you want but CTRL-ALT-F3 will take you to a text console where you can log in to a bash session and kill whatever you want. (CTRL-ALT-F7 to get back to the X session) Cheers, Dave -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
