What is a good harddisk devision in case the logical volume manager is being on the harddisk. Following situation: - the system has a 6GB hda disk and a 80GB hdb disk - hda has been installed with windows - hdb can be fully used for linux, which can be suse-8.0, 8.1, etc Is it now possible to assign the harddisk fully to lvm and to one volume group, or should there be a volume group per distribution (8.0, 8.1, etc). Must there be some space left for swap? Can /boot be managed under lvm? Just curious and looking forward to hear your experiences with lvm. -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
