I'm running 11.4 tumbleweed and I just started a virtualbox VM with no issue.
Unfortunately I can't test vanilla 11.4 with VirtualBox because I don't have it installed anywhere.
I getting a new kernel and VirtualBox packages from Tumbleweed an option?
Greg
Actually, although my VM started, it's not interacting with my mouse/keyboard. I've not had that issue before. I'll need to do some troubleshooting later. No time right now.
I added the tumbleweed repo and updated kernel... et al
still have the same problem :^(
tks,
Try running: /etc/init.d/vboxdrv start and see if the modules are then loaded. I had the same thing with the VB version from the openSUSE repos.
