[opensuse] Kmail Not Displaying Messages

For the last couple of months Kmail running under Leap 42.3 does not display most messages. Only the top header is shown. I have applied the latest updates today. The alternative is launch Evolution in Leap. Under TW, Kmail displays messages correctly. Go figure!! Regards.
