- do your network settings are corrects? I mean can you telnet your machine? - Check your DISPLAY variable try: $ echo $DISPLAY :0.0 $ export DISPLAY="target.screen.machine:0.0"
- on the X server your host must be authaurised: try $ xhost to see all accepted hosts $ xhost yourhostname would fix.

I can telnet withmy machine.
