How did you install Firefox 1.5 and where did the package come from?
After installing mplayerplug-in via YAST, I had to manually copy the .so file to ~/firefox/plugins.

Although I've found that some .rm streams, like 30sec music samples at amazon.com, won't play in RP10 -- I get a "this media uses an obsolete codec" message. I actually have to tell Firefox to open those streams in RP8. Odd, but probably not really germane to the discussion at hand.
