I don't know if you got a reply but pdksh is included but not installed by default. You should be able to do so by using yast1. It is part of the ap (Programs that don't need X) series. Hope that helps Eddie On Monday 27 August 2001 4:11 pm, you wrote:
Dear list,
I posted a question a while ago about installing DB2 on linux. I down loaded the installation tar file from IBM and tried to exectue the installation program db2setup.
I had an error which turned out to be because I need to be running pdksh (public domain korn shell).
My question is I currently run bash on my suse 7.1 box. How do I install/load pdksh. Is it on the 7.1 professional cd's that I have ???
If anybody could help this linux newbie I would be most grateful.
Kindest regards Neil Briggs
