It seems that the default kernel RPM contains the rt2540.ko (USB wireless network device) driver, but the smp variant does not. Is this on purpose? I think the original smp kernel RPM also did not have this driver.
(I mistyped rt2570.ko as rt2540.ko. Sorry.)
