Reiser is nice... except when it isn't. My root partition is ext3, my home is xfs, and others are reiserfs. I distribute my eggs on several baskets ;-) - or, I like to try things. Both true.
In case you missed it due to a broken thread, the problem is now solved. The whole thing was caused by a corrupted ReiserFS.
