Sorry for this newbie question, but I was trying to figure out how to use Yast to update via FTP as to prepare for the release of 5.2. updates. I've got the Yast part figured out but I cant seen to integrate yast with the ftp functions.ie: cant seen to get yast to find the ppp conection to the world. The error I get is ftp.suse.com cannot be located. Im running kppp as the conection scipt to activate ppp connection. I have also tried a terminal session ftp with kppp running and this works fine except Yast does not see the connection. I've read the 5.1 manual but there is very little info on Yast and FTP. Are there some other sources of info to learn this function and capability.
