I did an update on a SUSE 10.1 of kde on Sunday to the latest in the build service. KDE no longer runs. To be more specific: I get X. I get KDM. I can use any window manager other than kde or gnome. I do not usually run gnome, but it has, to the best of my knowledge, been working. Not now. If I loǵ in to a failsafe session and type kdeinit, I see some kde apps start (in the process list) but kde does not finish starting. My .xsession-errors does not tell anything. Sooo, any clues how I can see how far the startup is getting so I can start to diagnose the problem. I am also running compiz (not yet Beryl) and Xgl with nvidia's drivers, if that matters in this update. They are as up-to-date as the build service is. -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems AB Ramböll Sverige AB Kapellgränd 7 P.O.
