kde3 + fluxbox - can't go wrong :) (and of course twm from the minimal X install) Back in the day, I used to try every desktop suse offered. Even the weird ones from blackbox to e-16 to sawfish, etc.. back before desktops to 100s of MB (or even GB) and they didn't try and take over your entire system (the smaller ones still don't, gnome and plasma are other cases altogether) -- David C.
