Hi.. i am wondering why I am getting a L_ when i try to boot using lilo. This has never happened before. I would start up and LILO boot: would show .. but not now. So i can;t boot when Lilo is installed ..
Startup with your CD-ROM or Diskette...then choose the Startup from the disk...after that...you should only enter "fdisk" and make at least one partition bootable! :)) choose flag "a" to make a partition bootable...here is an example...:)) If your startup disk is: /dev/sda1 and you have winXX on /dev/hda2 you should do this! bash# fdisk Using /dev/sda1 as default device! Command (m for help): a Partition number (1-4): 1 Command (m for help): w Command (m for help): q bash# lilo ; reboot And that's all folk's :)) Regards, Lubelio Fernandes - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
