Hello,
I have kernel 2.2.1 and SuSE 5.3 I know that there are some problems at first with the 2.2.* kernels. I got most of them fixed. I had eth0 working fine under 2.0.36. But now i get 3 errors at boot time.
Setting up network device eth0 SIOSIFADDR: not found SIOSIFBRDADDR: not found SIOCSIFNETMASK: not found
what can i do to fix those ?
Try putting an entry for your card in /etc/conf.modules Like: alias eth0 ne option ne io=0x6000 irq=11 - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
