Hello,
my printer is a HP 870 Cxi. I used YaST to configure it (with the ASP
'hpdj' , which seems to be the best for this printer _ I think ... ) It works fine, but in monochrome, whereas I switched all the 'color'
filter options
I could find.
Does your printer have a thing saying "For Windows" next to the place it says 870Cxi? If so, I may not have to buy another printer.

A printer for windows ?? horror !!!!! I would never have bought such a printer .... No, the HP 870 Cxi is a good printer, in the same category than HP 890 ( it's the professionnal category, wheras the HP 6xx is the public category ) I think this printer recognize HP-CL3 language Moreover, a printer designed for windows wouldn't have worked at all under linux, whereas mine prints postscripts documents perfectly .... but in B&W ! help ! :-!
