My motherboard only supports USB 1 so I went down and bought a Belkin USB/Firewire PCI card and installed it. SuSE found it and it shows up in my hardware configuration....so I guess it works. Question 1 Should I disable my old on-board USB? I don't need it for anything now that I have my PCI card. The only thing I plugged into it was my card reader and camera. ???? Question 2 How do I mount things connected to my Firewire port? I want to plug in my DV camcorder and capture video....but how? Thanks!
