Hi masaru, (sorry mail was send first to the private address) Am 03.06.24 um 14:49 schrieb Masaru Nomiya: thanks for providing all the informations. i agree that the booting of a system (uefi or classic) should not have to do with the amount of data transferded to the graphic card. but the function resizable bar and csm are in some way connected in several bios-/uefis. switching on and of influences the other, and in one bios/uefi i read something like if you like the maximum effort of resizable bar you have to switch off csm. so beside this, i still like to test if i could measure if there is a affect of it when i switch off csm. so i still want (if i find some time) try to change the classic boot to the uefi boot, doing it by shell commands. because i do not have a clear answer found here where the files belong to which rpm, i have to set up first some other system and take a look. or could anybody here please take a look (search in yast) what rpm is necessary for the file in boot/efi.... simoN -- www.becherer.de
