Don't know.
But I learned long ago from doing upgrades by "new install" to do cp -r -p /etc /local
This creates a copy of all config files in /local/etc
This happens every time I configure the wireless network in YAST. Would you do that every time you had to do that?
You cannot mix YaST settings with your own settings. Just use YaST for everything or forget to use YaST. You can add your hosts settings with the YaST module: /sbin/yast2 host -- Matthias -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
