Hi,
I mirrored my working system and upgraded the mirror from 10.3 to 11.0. I have some confusions.
1. I changed all of my repositories to 11.0 (update, vlc, mozilla, XGL, Oss, packman, nvidia, KDE:backports, non-oss) and enabled them. I choose the default update by patterns mode and don't change the patterns. The package manager said, there is some dependency errors, for example imagemagic and libmagic didn't have the same versions. I said ignore dependency to all problems and did the install. I booted to my new system and (1 hours after the beginning of the upgrade) checked for updates with software manager. It shown 600 MB updates. I updated and reseted the remembered dependency solvations and verified the system. There is only one error, the others seems to solved by the 600 MB update. I confused, because I don't think that 600 MB update was synced while the upgrade process run. So what could cause this? How upgrade process works?
2. The upgrade process deleted 88 packages. It is normal? There was a lot of libs. Just a question that aren't 88 deleted packages too lot?
Can't explain the other part, but for #2, yes that's pretty normal, even going from 10.2 to 10.3 I saw about that many deleted.
