A couple of obvious, simple thoughts: Have you logged onto the gmail web interface for your account and checked your "spam" folder lately? A lot of opensuse email ends up there for my account even though I try and train it otherwise :-/ Also, have you double-checked your gmail settings in case pop has become disabled?
