Yep, I just told it to ignore the failed sha256sum, as I had manually verified it.
Opensuse has those packages available, but as usual they are out of date, but perhaps better integrated. Read carefully which packages are for the host, and which are for the guest VM.
I have been running VB for a couple of years or so. I initially tried the openSUSE version, but it failed. So, I just download from Oracle.
