Hi all
I've stuffed my config by using "zypper dup" - it seems to have stuffed the Xorg/X11/Nvidia config as i can't load X now. its the old mismatch of Nvidia and X11-video-nvidiaG02, they are both 190.53 but the nvidia-gfxg02 is a couple of minor releases higher - is there any reason for them to produce these complimentary files on the Nvidia.com site when they don't match?
is it possible to use zypper to restore the previous config? I don;t want to have to reinstall from DVD unless i have to.
thanks
Ian # Update - maybe its a duff XOrg - i removed nvidia drivers and went to "nv" and it didn't work either - "failed to load module "nvidia" (module does not exist) "Fatal server error: no screens found"
Anyone know which "nvidia" module doesn;t exist? The only ones i can see in he repos are the proprietary driver modules. thanks Ian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
