Yeah; that's why I'd really prefer hibernate.
Hybrid is a safety measure for those using suspend. The machine writes to disk an hibernation image, but at the last moment it suspends to ram instead. The assumption is that the user thinks he will come back soon. O return, the machine restores instantly. If he takes too long to return or the battery dies first, no problem: the machine then tries to boot, sees the hibernation image, then restores from hibernation. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
