I have two machines connected into a 10/100MB switch. Would it currently be possible to run a Windows application on its own box from SuSE Linux using WINE?
No. Wine is used to run Windows apps on the Linux box, not remote systems. You'd need to use VNC or other remote control app.
Though in theory you could mount C:\ over samba and run WINE using the mounted Windows installation. -- ----- stephan@s11n.net http://s11n.net "...pleasure is a grace and is not obedient to the commands of the will." -- Alan W. Watts
