Thank you for your answers, I'll look into it, though I am at a loss as to how change the rights on the said directories.
First you should provide listings that will show current owners and access rights. Next 2 shell commands ran as normal user will do that: ll ~/.ooo3/user/ ll ~/.ooo3/user/autocorr/ I would run one command, copy and paste output, then repeat the same for another. Output will be something like: rm@linux-dust:~> ll ~/.ooo3/user/ total 60 drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2010-01-24 22:37 autocorr drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 autotext drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2010-12-13 23:00 backup drwxr-xr-x 3 rm users 4096 2011-01-12 23:09 basic drwxr-xr-x 3 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 config drwxr-xr-x 3 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 database drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2010-10-10 22:36 gallery drwxr-xr-x 4 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 psprint drwxr-xr-x 4 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 registry drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 Scripts drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 store drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 temp drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 template drwxr-xr-x 3 rm users 4096 2009-12-06 23:22 uno_packages drwxr-xr-x 2 rm users 4096 2010-01-12 20:39 wordbook rm@linux-dust:~> ll ~/.ooo3/user/autocorr total 12 -rw-r--r-- 1 rm users 8401 2010-09-30 20:42 acor_en-US.dat Legend: rm = my user name linux-dust = computer name All other entries should be the same. To do copy and paste output, highlight the text in console and then bring mouse cursor in the email reply window and press middle button (nowadays it is button under the wheel). If you have 2 button mouse (or touchpad), right click when cursor is on the highlighted text and select copy. Ctrl+c doesn't work as copy command only in console window, as it is keyboard shortcut that stops program execution. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
