If out there there's anyone working at SuSE i wish to know why SuSE 6.0 will be .36 based with 2.1.130 as alternative kernel ??? If there're are problems on making it 2.2 based i wish to know which ones (i dont think this is the problem cause they declair 6.0 as 2.2 ready so...), and if the problem is only the time... that's NOT a problem, i prefer waitin and get real new stuff.
Because 2.0.36 is the latest stable kernel. And 2.1* series kernel are dev kernels. All dists I know of ship with the latest stable kernel. Developmental kernels though included with S.u.S.E. are not supported, whatsoever. -M - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
