[Newbie] Internet Problem with Cable Modem

Hi, I just got and installed SuSE 8.0 to my computer (Dell Inspiron 5000e, notebook). I found that Internet service doesn't work even though It has worked in windows 2000. Pleas give me an adive or any procedures that I have to consider to set up... By the way, I have tried 'Network Configuration' in YaST2 but it didn't work. PCMCIA : 2 slots Ethernet card : Kingston KNE - PC2T ( I couldn't find a name of this in 'Network Configuration' so I just typed "KNE - PC2T" in a Module Name and none in an Options.)
