Hi,
Delayed reply ;-) Was out for a few days.
I tried to do as you guys suggested to change back to 1024 x 768. But the
problem is that the screen is very grainy and also the letters are kind of
diffuse, one going and mixing into the other. The problem persists immaterial
of the resolution.
Any guesses what could be wrong?
Chaitanya.

Hi Lee,
Followed your advice of setting to the nearest monitor settings. Works fine. Only one prob. At a resolution of 1024 X 768 all the fonts are huge. I stuck to 1280x1024. But then there's the problem of flicker.
Any more suggestions.
Chaitanya.
Yes, set it back to 1024x768 and change your font size as Gil suggested in the control center. The larger screen size is probably putting you into an interlaced mode which does flicker. That's just telling you, yes I can do this, but you're not going to like it. ;o)
