When at home I like to use an external keyboard and serial mouse connected to a laptop. Anyone on this list who has configured X to use two mice simultaneously? I have done this with gpm, but the X howto's don't seem to mention this sort of thing.
I guess that I could create two different XF86Config files and run X via a script which would rename the files, but then I would have to maintain 2 different config files whenever I wanted to change something - seems kind of kludgely.
If you would have an external PS/2 mouse in addition to the laptop mouse device, it would work. Using two different mouse types will be possible with XFree86 4.0, the current XFree86 release does not support this.
