Wow, I know that local calls in the US are free, but that's still a lot of time on the net. Here in Germany we pay for local calls by the "click". A click is 12pf (ca. 7c). According to the time of day a click is from less than 60 seconds to 4 minutes. If you connect 4x per hour and spend only 1 click each time that's 96 clicks per day or 2880 clicks per month. That's 345.60 DM per month (ca. 191$). My wife "allows" me only 167 clicks per month (i.e. 20DM). That's about 24 minutes per day.
