Sziasztok! Van ket webcam-om, 11.0-as opensuse-val szepen mukodtek pl. a skype-pal, de 11.1-gyel es 11.2-vel nem hajlandoak menni. A fura az, hogy bizonyos alkalmazasokkal megy a webcam (pl. motv, kopete) masokkal meg nem (pl. skype, cheese). Ha hasonlo cipoben jarsz, itt a megoldas: Be kell allitani az LD_PRELOAD valtozot az usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so ertekre. Azaz pl. terminalbol igy kell inditani: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype ha pedig ikonra kattintva akarod inditani, akkor az ikonra jobb gombbal kattintva a Properties (tulajdonsagok?) alatt a command-ot (magyarul talan "parancs") kell erre kicserelni: bash -c 'LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype' Ha autostart-ban inditod a skype-ot, oda is ezt kell beirni. Aki pedig orditani akar, hogy milyen nagy az Isten allatkertje, annak itt a magyarazat, hogy mi az oka az egesznek (forras: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Webcam) If your webcam is not one of the latest models and you get at least something as the picture (some garbled or green screen or statics) instead of the expected picture -- you already have the installed drivers. Still you'll have to reconfigure the launching of the application in which the problem is observed. Reason: The developers decided to change the way the drivers and cameras work: old drivers (before Ubuntu 8.10) had the code to decode the data received from the webcam, the new drivers (since 8.10) don't. instead they assume decoding it always done somewhere else.
