Los programas de correo _buenos_ tienen un botón para "responder a la lista", además de los típicos "responder al remitente" y "responder a todos". Basta elegir el adecuado. No, el mozilla no tiene ese botón, luego no es un programa de correo bueno. :-P Todas las listas de suse, y bastantes más por ahí, están configuradas de forma que el "from", el remitente, es la persona que envia el correo, en vez del servidor de la lista. De esta forma las respuestas automáticas no salen publicadas. Eso es así, y no tienen ninguna intención de cambiarlo; es a propósito y muy pensado: figura en el faq y/o el correo de confirmación que leiste y respondiste para subscribirte a la lista :-) Así que la mejor opción que tienes es dar a responder a todos, y luego borrar todas las direcciones de la cabecera excepto la de la lista. O hacer un truco con procmail si usas fetchmail. Por cierto, que, salvo en esta lista en concreto, en las de habla inglesa de suse la gente se enfada bastante si les respondes en privado, o peor, en la lista y en privado. -- Saludos Carlos Robinson

A mi modo de ver, la cosa viene mal desde el servidor de correo de SuSE. En otras listas de correo linux, como las de Argentina o Venezuela, basta con dar un simple "Reply" o "Responder", y uno ya está respondiendo a la lista, mientras que en las de SuSE, si uno procede de la misma forma, responde solamente al emisor del mensaje, sin copia a la lista, a no ser que le de "Reply All" o "Responder a Todos". No se porqué la gente de SuSE configura los servidores de listas de esa forma, ya que si los argentinos y venezolanes lo pueden hacer de la manera mas sencilla y eficiente, porqué no los alemanes? Pero en mi caso, cuando quiero responder a un correo de la lista, solo tengo que hacer un "responder" (reply) en el programa de correo (kmail) y éste solo responde a la lista, salvo que le indique otra cosa. Pero vuelvo a indicar que no entiendo el motivo de cogerse un "rebote" por eso. no se que ocurriria si configuras en tu servidor de correo que no estas, y envias como respuesta automatica un mensaje del tipo 'fulanito esta de vaciones, leerea el mensaje a la vuelta', no creo que dependa de la configuración de kmail. La razon de configurar la lista de correo de suse respondiendo por defecto al autor del correo, tal y como la entendi hace ya algun tiempo, es la siguiente: Imaginate una lista compuesta por N miembros: A, B, C, D, E,... Muchos miembros. Imaginate ahora que A envia un mensaje a la lista, de forma que el conjunto de los miembros recibe dicho mensaje. Imaginate ahora que un usuario cualquiera, B, ha configurado el su cuenta de forma que cuando recibe un mensaje y esta de vacaciones, envía un mensaje automatico al remitente del correo, en este caso, la lista entera (en lugar de una persona particular). En este caso, TODA la lista recibirá el correo. Esto de por si ya es molesto, pq no nos interesa lo mas minimo que estas de vacaciones. De esta forma, suse configura la lista de correo para que por defecto, se responda *solo* al autor del mensaje, y asi, *solo* él recibirá la contestacion automatica del usuario B. Esto te convence? No? Espera, que hay mas. Veamos... Que pasa si no solo el usuario B esta de vacaciones sino también el usuario C, que tb configura su cuenta para que envie una respuesta automatica cuando recibe un corrreo?? Pues pasa lo siguiente: 1. A envia un correo. 2. B y C lo reciben -> B y C contestan automaticamente a TODA la lista. 3. C y B reciben las respuestas automaticas de B y C al correo de A -> C y B vuelven a enviar un mensaje a TODA la lista diciendo que estas de vacaciones y que ya leeran el mensaje. 4. B y C vuelven a recibir los mensajes automaticos generados por C y B -> contestan de nuevo a toda la lista... ... N. Y asi hasta el infinito (y mas alla de las estrellas :P), o tengan a bien volver de vacaciones. Ves el efecto cascada que esto tiene? Basta que dos usuarios tengan configuradas respuestas automaticas para que la lista se LLENE literalmente de respuestas automaticas sin fin. Y como se evita esto? La razon de configurar la lista de correo de suse respondiendo por defecto al autor del correo, tal y como la entendi hace ya algun tiempo, es la siguiente:
Imaginate una lista compuesta por N miembros: A, B, C, D, E,... Muchos miembros.
Imaginate ahora que A envia un mensaje a la lista, de forma que el conjunto de los miembros recibe dicho mensaje.
Imaginate ahora que un usuario cualquiera, B, ha configurado el su cuenta de forma que cuando recibe un mensaje y esta de vacaciones, envía un mensaje automatico al remitente del correo, en este caso, la lista entera (en lugar de una persona particular). En este caso, TODA la lista recibirá el correo. Esto de por si ya es molesto, pq no nos interesa lo mas minimo que estas de vacaciones. De esta forma, suse configura la lista de correo para que por defecto, se responda *solo* al autor del mensaje, y asi, *solo* él recibirá la contestacion automatica del usuario B.
Esto te convence? No? Espera, que hay mas. Veamos...
Que pasa si no solo el usuario B esta de vacaciones sino también el usuario C, que tb configura su cuenta para que envie una respuesta automatica cuando recibe un corrreo?? Pues pasa lo siguiente:

Bueno, yo sólo advertí que al contrario que en la lista de habla hispana, en las listas de habla inglesa - lo cual no quiere decir que sean ingleses ni americanos, pueden ser australianos, alemanes, arabes, rusos o indios, por ejemplo, que usan el inglés como idioma de intercambio - suele ocurrir eso, que se enfadan por recibir respuestas fuera de la lista, o peor, duplicadas. Algunos ponen la advertencia en la firma. ¿El motivo? Pues no lo se con exactitud. Va contra la norma, si... Mi sospecha es que - a mi me ha pasado - que ves primero la respuesta privada, respondes, y luego ves la respuesta a la lista, y entonces te das cuenta que tu también has respondido en privado, sin querer, y tienes que recuperar el texto del mensaje para reenviarlo y es un fastidido. Claro, que es posible tener un filtro que separe automáticamente las respuestas privadas a otra carpeta. -- Saludos Carlos Robinson

Mi sospecha es que - a mi me ha pasado - que ves primero la respuesta privada, respondes, y luego ves la respuesta a la lista, y entonces te das cuenta que tu también has respondido en privado, sin querer, y tienes que recuperar el texto del mensaje para reenviarlo y es un fastidido.

tú mismo te respondes ;-) Otra postura sería la de que independientemente de donde recibas el correo, respondas siempre a la lista, ya que en su mayoría se tratará de "matizar" un tema de interés general que está en curso (salvo excepciones, en cuyo caso sabrás que hacer).

No me entiendes en esto. Quiero decir que los programas automáticos no entienden de normas. Funcionan como funcionan, y no leen las normas: son programas. Por tanto, suponiendo que la lista pusiera el "From" a la dirección del servidor de la lista, si un usuario activa el programa "vacation", o alguno equivalente - como por ejemplo, el lotus notes tiene una opción equivalente, así como el exchange, o si se lo activa el administrador de la empresa cuando el currito se va de vacaciones, el programa responderá automáticamente a todos los correos que reciba de la lista, y lo hará a la dirección del From, o quizás a la de reply-to. Eso está pasando continuamente en suse-security - y no se porqué precisamente en esa lista. Gracias a que el From es el del originante, no pasa nada grave. Y eso es independiente de todas las normas que haya, y de la voluntad de los usuarios. Y si dos usuarios simultaneamente están en esa situación, tenemos un ping-pong de miles de correos a la lista en cuestion de minutos, hasta que alguien actue manualmente para evitarlo... y si es un fin de semana, pasarán un par de dias de ping pong, con decenas de miles de correos enviados a todo el mundo con "fulano está de vacaciones" y "zutano está de vacaciones". Teniendo el From puesto al usuario en vez de la lista se evitan esos problemas.

Y el volumen de tráfico. También hay cuestiones prácticas. Por ejemplo, alguien plantea una pregunta a la lista, yo respondo con alguna apreciación o petición de más información. Entonces va el originante y me responde en privado - y yo, que ya estoy desconectado y lejos, no lo veo a lo mejor en dias. Si hubiera respondido a la lista, otro lo puede ver y darse cuenta de cual es el problema al ver la respuesta, y decirle cual es el problema.
Claro, que es posible tener un filtro que separe automáticamente las respuestas privadas a otra carpeta.

Y si dos usuarios simultaneamente están en esa situación, tenemos un ping-pong de miles de correos a la lista en cuestion de minutos, hasta que alguien actue manualmente para evitarlo... y si es un fin de semana, pasarán un par de dias de ping pong, con decenas de miles de correos enviados a todo el mundo con "fulano está de vacaciones" y "zutano está de vacaciones".

Te entiendo perfectamente Carlos (a parte de lo bien que lo has expuesto), el problema seguro que ha sido que no me he sabido explicar (como siempre). Lo que te quería decier es que como bien indicas "los robots no entienden de normas", pero detrás de éstos programas, siempre hay una persona y es a ésta a la que hay que hacer le ver cuando es conveniente y cuando no el uso de éstas opciones de "auto-reply". Claro, pues eso es lo que pasa. Seguramente bastantes de esos programas son inteligentes para no enviar respuestas a listas de correo, si se enteran de que lo son. Otros no se enteran. Y, como por muchas normas que pongas la mayoría de usuario ni se las leen, los administradores de las listas tienen que ser más avispados para evitar los desaguisados más normales. En un mundo perfecto, los usuarios no usarían autorespuestas en las direcciones usadas para listas de correo, o usarían un filtro adecuado. Pero lo hacen.
Es una pena que tengais ese "problemón" en la "suse-security" y que no se halla/is podido poner remedio a él.
El remedio es lo que se hace: la lista envía con el "From" puesto a la dirección del remitente, en vez de poner la dirección de la lista, como parecería lógico en un primer vistazo. Como en todas las listas de SuSE ;-) -- Saludos Carlos Robinson

En el kmail es muy fácil, tienes un botón "reply to list", "responder a la lista". Pero si que hay unas cuantas listas más que funcionan de esta guisa. Por ejemplo... las de sourceforge. La de susemanía también. Las de yahoo, casi también, pero añaden un "reply-to", con lo cual no es igual (hay por ahí diatribas en contra de las listas que usan el "reply-to", por cierto). Si, claro, yo en la agenda tengo "SLS: suse-linux-s@suse.com", así que es facil. O se da responder a todos, y borras las direcciones particulares. Mmm, me acabo de quemar tres dedos con la cafetera y escribir es complicadillo ;-) Yo recojo el correo con fetchmail, y lo reparto con procmail. Eso me permite usar la siguiente cascada de reglas: :0 * ^Original-Recipient: rfc822;robin1.listas@tiscali.es { :0f * ^X-Mailinglist: suse-linux-s | /usr/bin/formail -bfi "Reply-To:suse-linux-s@suse.com" :0 a: $HOME/Mail/lists/suse-linux-s # Quitar los duplicados (enviados a la lista y directamente) :0: * ^TO_suse-linux-s@suse.com $HOME/Mail/lists/in_dups # el resto de las listas :0: $HOME/Mail/lists/in_elresto } La primera carpeta recoge exclusivamente el correo proceado por el servidor de suse, y con formail le añado una cabecera "Reply-To" (La antigua se guarda como Old-..., creo). La segunda recoge los correos que se han mandado con copia privada. Y la tercera los demás, o sea, los independientes. Así no me estorban los correos enviados por duplicado. Esto me permite leer el correo con cualquier programa: habitualmente uso Pine, pero otras uso balsa, kmail, mozilla... -- Saludos Carlos Robinson
