Echo en falta alguna página donde ver los requisitos mínimos de componentes para poder instalar las distintas versiones de OpenSuSE. También echo de menos alguna página donde revisar los programas que están disponibles en cada revisión de OpenSuSE así como la versión que se instala. ¿Hay alguna página donde poder ver estas cosas? Sobre la 10.2, no hay nada especifico, pero aparentemente de acuerdo al mensaje, estos requisitos estarían al nivel de la 9.1: http://en.opensuse.org/MiniSUSE_-_Test_SUSE_Linux_on_Minimal_Hardware (la primera parte es del mismo jdd, que reportó lo de la 10.2) Otro link referido a la 10.1 (mas exigente): http://en.opensuse.org/Sysreqs

Estas especificaciones son para la versión Mini no para una SuSE normal. Creo recordar que versiones anteriores requerían una cantidad de memoria mínima para instalarse, pero no recuerdo cuál.

Esto sí... :-O 256 MB. como mínimo. ¿Se podrá instalar con menos? Supongo que si no instalas el sistema gráfico no debe de hacer falta tanto mega.
Se puede reportar, pero debido al maluso de esos reportes, no estarán a la vista del publico.
¿Mal uso? :-? A mi me parece que el hecho de no mejorar o corregir esos fallos hacen que las versiones de 6 meses de antigüedad acaben siendo betas perpetuas. Si la versión está dentro del periodo de soporte (2 años) deberían seguir mejorándola en la medida de lo posible. Con algo un poco más viejo P200MMX y 64 Mb. de RAM ejecutaba un SuSE 9.1 con KDE. Funcionaba sin prisas, pero sin pausas, es decir, aceptablemente lento. -- Salutacions - Saludos, Josep M. Queralt

No, a jdd lo conozco hace algún tiempo, y sé que anda detrás de hacer funcionar la suse en máquinas pequeñas o antiguas. El problema mayor no es hacer funcionar la distro con poca memoria, que eso suele funcionar; el problema mayor es la instalación mediante Yast. En este caso pues no se que habrá hecho, porque mi francés es bastante malo.
