Hola.. Necesito terminar con algunas dudas que tengo, y perdonen si pregunto algo basico. pero hoy, estas cosas generan en mi, solo cunfusion..... tratare de explicar la situacion. el tema es un Servidor web y de Mail , con una IP fija y una ip de red interna(donde hay colgados 60 usuarios) ejemplo: 2 Placas de Red Ip fija 211.77.88.999 Ip interna 192.168.0.5 mi dominio: www.martinfierro.com.ar protocolo pop3/smtp: mail.martinfierro.com.ar ¿en cierto momento configurando postfix, se configura para que solo acepte la salida desde la red interna.. entonces deberia poner?: 192.168.0.0/32 ??? La pc se llama : gates.martinfierro.com.ar y asi la configuro, pero.... donde deberia configurar : "mail.martinfierro.com.ar" para poder bajar los mail desde fuera de la red el servicio de DNS, lo obtengo de la empresa que me da la IP Fija entonces, ¿ tengo que levantar el servicio Bind? o No? tengo que configurar en /hosts o /hostname o donde sea donde diga la IP fija y el nombre de pc y dija el Ip interna y el nombre de PC Tambien... o solo alcanza con la Ip interna y el nombre de pc espero sepan disculpar, mis tontas preguntas... Por defecto es lo que hace, sin embargo es más que probable que tus usuarios necesiten conectarse desde el exterior tanto para recibir como para enviar correo. Haciendo ésto permitirás que sólo los usuarios de la red local puedan enviar correos. Si están fuera de la red no podrán conectar con Postfix.

En la documentación de Postfix tienes información de los parámetros que controlan ésto: myhostname, mydomain... pero recuerda que sólo pueden enviar los de la red local, para poder enviar desde cualquier ubicación tienes que mirar la autentificación en Postfix (SASL) como te ha dicho Josep M.

No, ya que será la empresa quien se encargue de resolver las peticiones que se hagan a tu dominio. Aunque siempre es una buena idea tener configurado BIND de forma local, para trabajar más cómodo en tu red interna.

De eso se encarga el router, es el que tiene la IP fija asignada por el proveedor.

En enrutador (router) será el que se encargue de "enrutar" (valga de redundancia) las peticiones que se dirijan a stu servicios: www.dominio.com (puerto 80) --> router --> Apache (ip local) mail.dominio.com (puerto 25) --> router --> Postfix (ip local) Es el router el que interactúa con el mundo exterior, no tu ordenador. Recuerda poner un cortafuegos o al menos no descuidar el tema de la seguridad. Saludos, -- Camaleón

# The inet_interfaces parameter specifies the network interface # addresses that this mail system receives mail on. By default, # the software claims all active interfaces on the machine. The # parameter also controls delivery of mail to user@[ip.address]. Claro, puedes poner el postfix para que sólo atienda al interior.

Para ello lo unico que necesitas es que la orden host te responda con cual es el servidor que atiende el correo, y eso no lo has hecho: cer@nimrodel:~> host martinfierro.com.ar martinfierro.com.ar has address 64... y debería salirte algo como esto: cer@nimrodel:~> host nimrodel.valinor nimrodel.valinor has address 192.168.100.2 nimrodel.valinor mail is handled by 10 nimrodel.valinor. <-- te falta el registro MX en el DNS. Ese puede apuntar a mail.martinfierro.com.ar, o a gates.martinfierro.com.ar, como te guste, siempre que sea cierto que esa maquina atienda el correo. Por cierto, que la resolución inversa también está mal, pero eso posiblemente no tenga arreglo, es habitual :-(
