El paquete man instala todos los manuales en todos los idiomas, de un golpe. Es cada usuario, individualmente, el que tiene que decirle al sistema "yo quiero los manuales en español" o en italiano, o lo que sea (cada usuario de un mismo sistema elige el suyo (root aparte)) - suponiendo, claro está, que los desarrolladores de cada programa hayan traducido el manual, y eso es raro. O sea, la minoría. Se trata de la variable de entorno "LANG": LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 LC_ALL=es_ES.UTF-8 $* prueba "locale -a" para enterarte de las posibles combinaciones (en principio). -- Saludos Carlos Robinson
