uuuyyyyyyyy estas usando el capi y eso es para fax RDSI y eso si escomplicado Si solo tienes modem desinstala todo lo de capi y rdsi, no hace mas que estorbar.

Aquí tienes otra razón por la que esto de mandar un simple FAX es imposible, ahora he quitado esa historia de hylafax, he intentado mandar uno desde el kprint como me indicaste, y bueno... faltaban dos archivos, ok, los instalé y el mensaje que me da es el siguiente:
Convirtiendo los archivos de entrada a Postcript
Enviando fax al destinatario
Enviando fax usando: /usr/bin/capisuitefax -d '914021948' '/tmp/kde-drincon/kprinter_6610' can't write to queue dir
Estamos apañaos..., ahora dice que no puede escribir ¿dónde?

Tanto el kde como el gnome tienen clientes para enviar faxes, a través del servidor hylafax, o a través del sendfax (o el EFax), que no necesita hylafax. Programas como el OpenOffice definen una pseudo impresora que es en realidad el fax - igual que es habitual en windows.
Pero además... ¡El yast tiene un módulo para configurar el fax! ¿Donde está la complicación? Y encima viene explicado en el manual de usuario, en correcto español.
